Koh Lipe
Forra Bamboo Resort was opened in 2006 and is comprised of 18 well-designed, spacious bungalows, built mainly from bamboo and natural materials by craftsmen from northern Thailand. The resort has been designed to take consideration of the natural environment and to leave as much space between bungalows as possible, to give maximum privacy. Every bungalow has a large terrace and sea view. Some bungalows have a mezzanine floor with an upper window (for a good view!)
All bungalows have one four-poster bamboo double bed with mosquito net and some have the option of a second single or double bed on the mezzanine floor. Each bungalow has a fan (electricity 8.00-10.30 and 17.30-24.00), although between the months of November and March you will probably not find a fan necessary due to the nightly northeast wind, which blows away most mosquitoes and makes this side of the island cool and pleasant for sleeping.
The bathrooms have been designed to be partially open air, so that you can shower in privacy under the palm trees and stars. The advantage is that the bathrooms are fresh, light and perfect for tropical living.
There are five low rise bungalows directly on the beach, without mezzanine floor, which can be rented from 1,000b a night. There are thirteen raised bungalows on stilts, some with a mezzanine floor, which can sleep up to four or a family of five and which can be rented from 700b per night, depending on the size of the bungalow and the number of people.

There is also a restaurant and bar at the resort, which serves western breakfast, coffee, shakes, drinks, lunch and dinner. Breakfast is not included in the nightly bungalow rate as we prefer to let guests be free to choose when and where they eat.
Visa and Mastercard accepted, but with a 5% banking fee. Credit card transactions must be completed at least one day before departure. Please note that travelers cheques cannot be changed and there is no ATM on Koh Lipe (the nearest is on the mainland at Langu, 20 mins from Pak Bara).

Koh Bulon
Leh and Koh Bulon Don are part of the Koh Petra National Marine Park, which includes 22 islands stretching between Pak Bara and the boundaries of Koh Tarutao National Marine Park. Koh Bulon Leh is twenty kilometres north of Koh Tarutao and about the same distance west of Pak Bara.
This small round island is a perfect getaway for couples and tourists in search of a very quiet environment. The island has jungle in the middle and is fringed by a soft white sand beach, like Koh Lipe.
Panka Bay resort offers you an opportunity to relax in a very tropical and tranquil setting, completely away from it all. Choose from quaint rustic Thai bungalows to the more spacious ones set on the hill, each giving beautiful views of the sunset from open verandas overlooking Panka Bay. Prices are from 200 Baht (5 US$) to 700 Baht (18 US$) per bungalow. Discounts are available for longer stays.
Please note that there is infrequent mobile phone reception on the island. The best reception is found at the top of the hill!
