Liveaboard
We offer liveaboard trips of varying length, to suit most requirements, onboard Forra 3.
Trips will start from Koh Lipe and will cover, depending on the itinerary, places such as:
- Tarutao National Marine Park (8 Mile Rock, Pakasem, Koh Sawang and Koh Hin Song…)
- Koh Lanta National Marine Park (Hin Daeng, Hin Muang, Koh Rok, Ko Ha)
- Koh Phi Phi National Marine Park (Phi Phi Shark Point, Bidah Nok, Bidah Nai and Phi Phi Snake Cave)
- The Phuket-Krabi protected area (King Cruiser Wreck, Shark Point and Anemone Reef).
The best season for making liveaboard trips is mid-February to mid-May when the northeast wind has died down. The sea is calm and consequently visibility is much improved. This is also the season for large pelagic such as plankton-feeding whale sharks and manta rays. 8 Mile Rock, Hin Daeng and Hin Muang are perfect pinnacles where you have an excellent chance of spotting them.
